Flavorful homemade sloppy joes are even more satisfying and delicious when placed on top of a sweet potato! You may not ever eat one on a bun again!

Ingredients
1lbground beef
8oztomato sauce
1TBSworcestershire sauce
1tsp spicy brown mustard
½tsp salt
½tsp garlic powder
½tsponion powder
1TBSbrown sugar
2TBS ketchup
¼cupwater
4sweet potatoesmedium
Instructions
Wash and pierce medium sweet potatoes with a fork and place on microwave safe plate and cook for 4-5 minutes. If they need to cook additional time cook in increments of 30 seconds until done.
While sweet potaotes are cooking, brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Return beef to skillet.
Add all remaining ingredients into the skillet and simmer for at least 5-10 minutes over low heat.
Cut sweet potatoes in half, mash them with a fork and then top with sloppy joes.
Notes
-If you cook sweet potatoes in the oven or slow cooker the total cooking time for this recipe will increase.
