Sharing my Story on the Kindled Podcast

Sharing is caring!

Sharing our stories is so powerful.  I believe that when we begin to share our stories, we can find freedom.  When we speak aloud about the brokenness we’ve felt, the pain we’ve been through, and how we survived the storm… we find hope and healing.

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Haley Williams from the Kindled Podcast and share my story.  I don’t know what it was about sitting down with her that day, but I poured my heart out.  I shared parts of my story I haven’t before… and though it felt scary, it felt brave, too.

Haley is an entrepreneur and Mom, like myself, and I am so glad our paths crossed.  She loves the Lord and is pouring her heart into women and I am honored she gave me the opportunity to share my story on her podcast.

The more I share, the more vulnerable I become, the more freedom I find.

My hope is that when someone hears my story, they can find hope for themselves.  Your story doesn’t have to look like mine.  But, if I had to guess, we have all been through seasons of brokenness.  We’ve all had seasons that we weren’t sure why God had us fighting the battle we were in.

We can choose to look at those battles as blessings, or breaking points.  That is not easy to do.  The older I get the more I see the blessing quicker.  I know that when I’m in a season of isolation or fear or stillness… He is still GOOD and He is still at work in me.

I’d love for you to to listen to my episode on the Kindled Podcast.  If it speaks to you, I’d love it if you’d share it with someone.

God is not wasting the pain I’ve been through.  He’s using it.  And my hope in sharing my story is that it can offer others the hope I’ve found.

I still have pain, I still have struggles and I am still learning every single day, but I’ve come a long way and I’m thankful for my beautifully broken journey.
