On today’s episode, I am going to talk more with you about letting go of perfection on your wellness journey. I feel like as women too often we feel like we have to be perfect for ourselves and for others. I’m here today to tell you it’s ok to let go of that perfection.
Instead of focusing on perfection, let’s focus on the small steps forward in the right direction.
Break down your goals for your wellness journey into small things that you can do each day. Things don’t have to be perfect, but instead just those small steps forward each day that will make a drastic change over time. Be gracious with yourself and know that it will take time to make these changes.
Make it simple.
Too often we make these habit changes too complicated, because we’re expecting this perfection. The all or nothing mentality that so many have makes us feel like if we don’t do it perfect, there’s no point in trying. That is a lie that is keeping you stuck.
I’m also sharing more about boundaries, reducing stress, and fear of failure in this episode.
I want to urge you in 2023 to leave perfection behind. Ask yourself how you can do it simply, instead of perfectly.
