Importance of Chiropractic Care with Dr. Therese Finan

Have you ever tried chiropractic care? On today’s episode, I am chatting with my chiropractor and good friend, Dr. Therese Finan about the importance of chiropractic care. Dr. Therese is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Kansas State University in 2006 with dual degrees in Nutrition/Exercise Sciences and Athletic Training. She then went on to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City where she graduated in December 2010. Dr Therese combined all areas of her background to open two Finan Chiropractic locations, one in Lenexa and the other in Shawnee, where it’s more than just chiropractic care. We focus on modalities and rehab that assist in treating the whole person, not just the symptom.

We talk about the misconceptions and benefits of chiropractic today. Dr. Finan shares her background and the approach she takes to care for her patients. 

Dr. Therese shares more about the common misconceptions that others have when considering chiropractic care. She shares how these misconceptions can really have an impact on the profession overall. Chiropractic care is meant to go below the physical appearance of the body and focus on the underlying factors that may not be visible to everyone. I share my personal testimony with this that has helped myself and my family.

Dr. Therese also talks about the importance of considering the physical, chemical, and emotional aspects of a person’s health and well-being. These three aspects are interconnected and all contribute to your overall health. She shares more about ART (Active Release Techniques) and how she uses that in her practice as well. She truly looks at the body as a whole and comes up with a plan to get you the best results.
